How to find us
Busbridge Tennis Association
Holloway Hill Recreation Ground,
To become a vibrant tennis community abounding in goodwill and creative energy, celebrating and sharing our resources and extending a warm welcome to all ages and stages of tennis ability. Developing a strong level of social activity in harmony with the local community and strengthening our relationships with all other organisations operating in the Holloway Hill recreation ground.
Every Tuesday from 19:00 – 21:00 we get together to play some social tennis, open to all skill levels. Balls are provided, so all you need to do is bring your racquet! Non-members are welcome to come along and play while you find out if the BTA is a good fit for you. These run all year, and from Autumn to Spring the courts are floodlit so we ask for a £2 contribution toward the electricity cost.
Go BIG on Thursdays
One fun activity to particularly highlight is the Thursday afternoon Beginners & Improvers Group ‘BIG’ (previously Therapy Tennis) sessions led by John Lapworth and Asit Gupta every Thursday from 2-4pm.
Whether you are re-starting tennis or a complete beginner, our BIG sessions are a great way to get more practice and connect with other like minded people while having some fun, with a light physical and social workout to usher in the weekend.
Improve your service or backhand or just develop better ball control (if you are a beginner) with supervised mini sessions aided by a ball machine. Top it all up with a post session cuppa, cookies and chit chat.
Send an email to (email@example.com) to show your interest or just turn up at the Holloway Hill recreation ground (we even have spare racquets!).
BECOME A MEMBER
Annual membership is just £15 per person or £35 per family. Supporting the BTA entitles you to book courts and be a part of the Wimbledon draw!
