The Buzz Summer Fete was held at Holloway Recreation Ground on Saturday 26th June to help raise funds towards the cost of installing floodlights.

SUMMER BARBECUE – August 7th 2010.

BTA chair Chris Jagger and his wife Maggie have kindly agreed to host a summer barbecue at their Busbridge home. It is purely a social occasion but if you would like to make a donation towards the floodlights there will be a piggy bank on display! WATERSPORTS DAY for Floodlight Fundraising – August 21st 2010.

As part of the BTA’s fundraising drive to raise £20,000 towards the installation of floodlights, there will be a fantastic family watersports day held at Stokes Bay near Lee‐on‐Solent (http://www.multimap.com/s/CRu1C4oA), kindly hosted by BTA chair Chris Jagger and a BTA member, both of who own speedboats.

You will have the chance to water‐ski, windsurf and “ringo” – being towed in a giant double inflatable ring. There will also be a beach barbecue (subject to council bylaws) and beach games for children and adults.

Transport must be arranged individually though it may be possible to organise lift sharing. BTA is asking for donations to cover the cost and raise much needed funds. There will also be an opportunity for the more accomplished water‐skiers to take part in a sponsored ski to the Isle of Wight, raising as much money as possible.

GREAT SOUTH SP0NSORED RUN – October 24th 2010.

BTA member Mark Jonkergouw will join 23,000 runners in this 10 mile road race through Portsmouth. He is looking for sponsorship to help towards the £20,000 cost of installing floodlights at the courts. If you would like to sponsor him please contact him via BTA at busbridgetennisnes@gmail.com
