GREAT SOUTH SP0NSORED RUN – October 24th 2010.

BTA member Mark Jonkergouw will join 23,000 runners in this 10 mile road race through Portsmouth. He is looking for sponsorship to help towards the £20,000 cost of installing floodlights at the courts. If you would like to sponsor him please contact him via BTA at busbridgetennisnes@gmail.com

First BTA tournament - 4th September 2010.

The very first BTA tournament was a resounding success with 16 pairs competing for the cup during a full morning of round robin matches. The weather was wonderful, the lunch delicious and the players are already looking forward to the next tournament which promises to be an annual event.

Watersports Day and Waterski across the Solent - 21st August 2010.

The Watersports Day at Gosport on the Solent was a great day, despite the challenging weather, with everyone enjoying swimming, beach games and barbecue. BTA chair Chris Jagger successfully completed his sponsored water-ski from the Isle of Wight to Lee-on-Solent later in August and raised an impressive £700 for the floodlight funds.

Summer Barbecue - 7th August 2010.

The annual summer barbecue was a fabulous evening at the Jaggers with a delicious barbecue, plenty of wine and some very competitive table tennis and table football matches, so many thanks to the Jaggers for welcoming so many of us into their home.

THE BUZZ SUMMER FETE – June 26th 2010.

The BTA supported the annual Busbridge BUZZ Summer Fete held at Holloway Recreation ground on Saturday 26th June, raising awareness of the BTA and providing fun tennis and spot coaching for the particpants.
